Firstly, Welcome to PrimeBaits and thanks for checking out our site! I first started constructing baits so I had something a little bit different to the rest of the anglers on the waters I fished. The lakes I was fishing were ultra rich and low stock, so I wanted a combination of high nutrition and attraction.

In the last few years, they have helped me catch hundreds of carp from some of the renowned waters throughout the country. These include British commons to over 40lb+ and British mirrors to over 65lbs. I also used it in the capture of the mighty black mirror (RIP) from the Mere at 50lb 2oz in 2006... Nuff Said!

I started to supply a few close friends, who soon realised that the bait was a critical piece of their armoury in the pursuit of big wily old carp. Along with some top angling, they caught some of the countries finest from waters such as Conningbrook, Dinton, The Mere, Cotton Farm, St Ives, Vinnetrow as well as many others well off the beaten track.

I source all ingredients from main suppliers and importers so ultimate freshness is achieved. They are then hand rolled, and freshly frozen so that confidence can be guaranteed. I can also make bait to any special requirements, so please feel free to contact me to discuss.


PrimeBaits Snatch Baits

The Snatch played a fundamental role in the campaign and future capture of the biblical Black Mirror. This particular boiled bait actually accounted for 2 of the fishes few pretigious captures during its life residing in the ultra difficult Colne Mere.

This bait is a blend of meat, fish and single cell proteins. It is the ultimate food source bait along with a high percentage of milk proteins isolates and birdfood.

It has a attractive seafood/ocean aroma, that the biggest cagiest carp find difficult to resist.

PrimeBaits Cream 66 Bait

The Cream 66 is a ultimate big carp bait, it led to the downfall of the biggest carp in the land, Two Tone, when it was landed at a British Record weight of 66.15lb to ‘lil’ Jon Bird in April 2008.

This bait is a high leakage milk protein isolate, nut and birdfood blend with a punjent cream fruit aroma. It has proved to be an absolute winner wherever it has been used, both here in the UK and across the continent.

Cream 66 has been excellent in the winter months, and no matter how severe the weather gets, the fish just keep eating it!

PrimeBaits Nature Identical Pop Ups

Nature Identical Pop Ups are available for all mixes. They are constructed using a granulated cork dust, as a lot of attraction is contained within the Basemix.

These pop ups ‘represent’ the exact food signal your free baits release, which makes it difficult for a fish to tell them apart. They have a great buoyancy for using with Choddies and other pop up arrangements, and literally stay up for ages!
